The transport within Fiji is well served by domestic airlines that provide often direct onward flights to international arrivals. To Ovalau, there are two daily flights on Air Fiji, either from Nadi (via Suva) to Levuka, or from Suva to Levuka. The airline operates Twin-Otters or similar aircraft that allow spectacular island views during the flight.

You have 3 possibilities to get to Levuka:

a.. Leimoana/Lodoni Transport: leaves Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from main Bus station in Suva at 8.30 a.m. This is a bus/ferry transport and you reach Levuka by 1 p.m. Cost F$ 20 per person/one way. No bookings possible, you just show up.

b.. Patterson Brothers Ferry Service: daily (except Sunday) transport leaves Suva by 1p.m. arrives Levuka around 7 p.m. Booking and ticket purchase at their office at Epsworth House, Nina Street, Suva, cost F$ 25 per person/one way.

c.. Air Fiji flight from Nausori to Ovalau. Cost F$ 61 one way. Daily flights at 7.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. (except Sunday - only afternoon flight) returns at 7.45 a.m. and 5.15 p.m.
